Since i start working with the construction e-commerce in Thailand one of the key function and role that the company have is Data analysis. What is data analysis ?. From my understanding data analysis is to make use of the data that collect from the real customer or order or real scenario and talk that data to analyse the pattern and understand how the customer behave.
Recently since i had task to work in the filed to collect data and do lot of interview with the retail and local shop. One of the key problem that most of the shop owner are facing is that the owner did not understand how their business preform. The problem not only occur with the SME but with the large business that got billion of THB turn over per years.
Collect data and information are not the difficult part of the process but is the most important part of the process. If the data are collect with out any attention the information can be misleading and result in the wrong decision making.
The information can be collect and record in many way like using certain program or just basically the excel program. Few thing the you need to do when start collecting data is you need to think how information will be collect , what information you want to collect and what data you want to know.
Having good data will not guarantee the success of business but it help you to reduce the risk and allow you to well prepare the company for any event that might occur.
